Looking at pads for my wife’s 2018 Wrangler. It’s lifted and has some off-road armor. The Ultimate Duty pads seem like a good match for vehicle and use.

Online I’m seeing Ultimate Duty as well as Ultimate Duty Performance A call to their customer service line didn’t prove very helpful

Anyone here know what the difference between the two pads is?

1400 series prefix pads are the same. The naming on Rockauto might be a bit off.

Looks like Rockauto is calling the pads w/o hardware to be "ultimate duty performance" while the pads with hardware are the "ultimate duty."

I have a set ready to go onto my truck.

How many miles? Is this a Rubi? IIRC the Rubis had bigger brakes from the factory, at least up front?

Is "ultimate duty" the brand? If so I'd look at akebono, ebc, dba, or something a little more heavy duty.

I heard the DFC Ultimate pads will dust like crazy. Two proven pads which are semi-metallic but low dust are Wagner Severe Duty and Bendix Fleet Metlok. The rotors I would get are Raybestos Truck Specialty.

I have no idea if these will fit your application. I did a quick parts search. The Bendix and Wagner products are similar offerings. I had the Wagners and they were great.
