Try gmpowertrain.com, look at the top bar and go to the engines and transmissions click on that and on the next page if you scroll down on the right hand side you will find a list of about 130 approved fluids.

Back to the original question---
Dexron-VI is a tight spec. I'd trust any licensed Dex-VI. To meet the performance spec a syn blend or better is required. Conventional base oil won't perform to the spec. As said above, Wally is looking at the marketing side when deciding what to put on their shelves. The SuperTech Dex-VI will be good. A higher cost Full Synthetic Dex-VI might live longer in service, but any Dex-VI is a long lived ATF in any case.

My local Kwik Kar Lube and Tune uses this for DEX VI applications.


If it really is DEXRON-VI either that KV 100C is a typo or it isn't a genuine product.

Thanks Whitewolf, I did miss the link. However, many of the rebranders list "To Be Determined" as the product. Omni is one of those.

To Ken2's comment, I agree. However, many brands display DexVI as a recommendation and are not licensed.
