Stopped by WM- looking for DEX VI replacement.
I Only saw the WM version Super Tech I belive. About $4 a quart....
But saw no other brands on the shelf.
I have seen the Valvoline Full Synthetic Dex VI.
I think Autozone or Oreillys had it-- for about $10 a quart...
But once again-- didnt see any other brand...
Any one else make this?
My 2010 Traverse 3.6 with the 6 speed is working fine.
I just hit 50,000 miles.
I do LA commutes on the freeway- stop and go.
These trans have no pan to drop- so no easily serviceable filter. to replace the lifetime filter. you have to crack it open.
But what it does have-- is a very easily accesible drain plug.
Other Traverse/Acadia/Enclave owners have said- its easier to drain the fluid in the trans than engine.
But since its easy to drain- I was planning on draining about 5 quarts. and refilling. A partial swap.
