Dexron 6 to Honda Z-1

I am glad it is doing well, but I'm not really surprised. I used Pennzoil Platinum LV (Dex VI licensed, manufacturer recommended for Hondas) in my '12 Odyssey for a few years and it worked well. If you don't mine me asking, which brand of Dex VI did you use in the Civic?

Wolf's Head/Amalie is good stuff. I am currently using their universal synthetic in my Ody and am very happy with it. I'm not sure how different their Dex VI is from the universal but the viscosity values are similar.

Please keep this thread updated over the next few years...it's always great to have more info on compatibility.

BTW I noticed that Advance Auto also indicates Dex VI fluids are compatible with Hondas.
