I have been reading a bit about the dexos spec and am a little confused what to do. I own a 2007 GMC Sierra with a 4.8l engine.I live in Rochester,NY and it does get a bit cold in the winter but not sub-zero for any length of time.My question is,for my 20 min low speed drive to work, should I go with a Dexos spec oil or a gf-5 dino.I am currently running Valvoline SynPower 5w30.I have no problem following my olm, just wondering if the dexos will be really worth it?
