First what Saab(GM) may have used setup the OLM: 2006 Saab 9-7x 5.3 with say Valvoline White Bottle 5w-30 SL

Secondly, what I am using in it today: 2006 Saab 9-7x 5.3 with QSUD 5w-30 SN

Valvoline WB: 4960 or 6 months
QSUD: 8708 or 11 months

I dont have the EXACT TBN for either of these oils, but i used something close.

Pretty close to the owner's manual at 6000 or 6 months with SF

I factored in the turbo, 4qt sump, 4-cylinder, and the high TBN of M1 0w-40.

NICE car! And tastefully modified!

4507-5984 miles or 6-8 months.
Since the forced induction was ADDED to the car, im not quite sure the formula would calculate the same way. So ill give you a range of numbers.

I'll bite.
All vehicles in my sig. Lets say the mustang is getting a 50/50 mix of AFE 0w-20/M1 0w-40 or pp 5w-20/m1 0w-40 and oil cooler,7 quarts.
Same thing for the dodge 5.7 6 quarts
If you can make the Harley compute how about rotella t 15w-40 3 quarts

Could you run them with PYB5w-30,qsud 5w-30,RP euro 5w-40,liqui-moly 0w-40,red line 5w-40. All the 40 grades are going to be mixed 50/50 with pp 5w-20. Does that complicate things,if it does just run em regular.
And post your equation. It's pretty cool that your getting this so close.
Thank you

Thanks. For your reference / comparison to the GM's OLM, I would say that the OLM gets to 0% around 7000-7500 miles. I usually run the synthetic oil out to 7500 and change it.

Here in Australia the standard service interval for that car (as recommended by Toyota), is 15000km (9300 miles) or 12 months.

Is this an attempt to be Karnak from Johny Carson Show? I mean if you are going to come up with OLM algorithm, at least ask for the zip-code (to account for weather) and/or ask for city/hwy split etc.

2005 Ford F150, 5.4L V8, Motorcraft Super Duty 10W30 HDEO, API CJ4/SM

7 qt sump + 2 qts in bypass system

Does filtration enter into this? If so, it's running a 3 um bypass system, which also adds oil capacity.
