nissan altima backed into the boat trailer, and the tip of the hitch contacted the car. Zaino didn't protect the paint, #@$%!? Could be worse I guess. Looking for ideas on how to fix it. Just before taking the pic, I wiped down the area using detail spray then used the dremel to wire brush clean the bare metal area of rust spots. I didn't take any paint off with the dremel.
I can live with what little dent there is, about the size of a half dollar if you can tell in the pic. I'm mostly concerned about rust and paint deterioration in the future. What do yall recommend I use to touch up the area? Just touch up paint, or should I go get some primer as well? If so, what and where. All I have at the moment is is nissan touch up blue.
As for the tail light cover, I really don't want to spend $100+ on a new cover. My main concern here is water getting into the light. Any ideas on what to use to seal up the cracked plastic? It doesn't have to be pretty. This is my utility car, function and durability take priority.
thanks.
