Yup, too bad. Donaldson and Fleetguard offer similar high-end synthetic media filters for heavy-duty applications as well, but neither seem to be available for automotive applications. Fleetguard does have 'upgrade' (some synthetic media content) filters available for some auto applications, however, so you might check into that.

FWIW, I've gone to Donaldson's standard lube filter for my Durango, and was pleasantly surprised by the construction quality and price (~3.25 USD).
