Sankei does not make outer tie rod ends for my car. They do make inner. Which i did purchase the sankei inner for driver side which needs replacing. Car has 250k miles. Im spending a ton already on tools and other parts doing repairs/maintenance. Just trying to save a bit where i can is why i havent bought the oem onesWhy not Honda parts? Or that senkei 555 that supposedly has quality Japanese parts?
Turkey has come in to do a lot of European parts.
Ive moog quality isnt what it used to be is why i didnt go with moog. And sankei apparently does not make the outer tie rod for my car. Only the inner. Maybe ill look at CTR or just splurge on oem. Just tryin to save a little money where i can this thing is a money pit lolLast time I installed Turkish (Deeza) outer tie rod ends on a Honda, both parts failed in 11 months/9,500 miles! Never again...I replaced them with Moog Problem Solvers in 2014 and they still steer like new with zero wear or play. I grease them every 6 months and expect them to last forever. With that said, I'd probably opt to install the Sankei 555 units today if I wanted to use maintenance free sealed units.
The CTR units are only second to OEM and Sankei 555 in quality. That would be my recommendation unless the OEM were close in cost. Remember to only buy OEM parts from a B+M or valid online Acura/Honda dealer. Most of the Acura/Honda packaged parts on eBay are Chinese counterfeit unless they are sold by a licensed dealership.Ive moog quality isnt what it used to be is why i didnt go with moog. Rack boot has been torn awhile. Still on original tie rods on 07, 250k miles. Front end rides rough and clunky. So im trying to replace pretty much everything. Tie rods gotta come off to replace the boot so might as well replace itWhat's wrong with the outer tie rods @RH43 ?![]()
Moog is done for IMO. No longer confident in the quality of any of their parts.Be careful if you get Moog. Those can be so tight your car will memory steer.
What model is this?anyone have experience with Delphi outer tie rod ends? Need to replace mine on my 07 Acura. Box shows made in turkey which from what i understand are usually decent quality. Or is this something i should just splurge on oem?
TLWhat model is this?
I was gonna say, I don't think I've ever replaced tie rod/ends on a Honda Ball joints? Yes, I've done many. What's wrong with the outer tie rods @RH43 ?![]()
I’ve heard that about moog, but every part I’ve gotten from them (not a huge sample size, but some parts for old Dodge trucks) has been excellent.Ive moog quality isnt what it used to be is why i didnt go with moog. If you can get CTR I’d go that route, it’s very good quality. A lot of the O’Reilly Import Direct parts are CTR. Sankei 555 is great but they have pretty limited selection IME.Ive moog quality isnt what it used to be is why i didnt go with moog. And sankei apparently does not make the outer tie rod for my car.
