I know this has been discussed before, but I've got a new twist on the topic.
oilBabe is allegedly allergic to a bunch of things now, including peanuts, so that means this years turkey frying will be a bit different. No peanut oil. So canola or some other high heat capable oil will be used.
However, I'm also looking for some alternatives to the Cajun injections.
I'm even willing to try a few before thanksgiving, just so we have it right for the holiday.
So what are your ideas? I'm looking for something to inject that's a bit more subtle than the cajun spice mixture in butter or oil.
Suggestions?
