Dealership wants to charge for a full brake service with brake rotor replacement under warranty

Brake pads are covered for the first 12,000 miles. The rotors are not covered. Read the warranty booklet.

Rotors are usually not covered under warranty because a bunch of yahoos ride their brakes or consistently brake hard, both causing warped rotors. That I can understand.

Now if the pads aren’t making contact with the rotor? That’s an entirely different issue not caused by wear. That’s a defective braking system. They better cover that under warranty.
