As others have said, it costs you nothing to get quotes from KBB and Carvana. They might give you some leverage. However, it’s perfectly OK to take a good offer and avoid the hassle. I sold my 2019 Ford Focus to a dealer who contacted me after I checked it on KBB just based on a whim. They offered me $1000 more than the KBB offer and reduced it $300 when they saw the scratches on the bumper, which I totally expected.
