Changed the FF on this truck. 660cc KF-VE engine. Hard working engine that is the ultimate short tripper. Lot's of trips at 100 yards or less. Lot's of idling and also high revving bursts. Often overloaded :)

No, this is the first one of these I have owned. Engine is fairly easy to access so I think it might not be to hard
I have one as well and use 0w-40 in it, just wanted to change the belt before it broke, I believe they are an interference engine.

I noticed you had a viscosity of 23.5 @ 100c? Must have started to thicken up? Why was it highlighted green?

Are the engines still under the seat on those? I believe they have a cooling system but maybe they still get hot, especially with the long idle periods plus hard work.

They are gutsy little vehicles.

Green is the first level of concern, it goes green, yellow, red. I don't know what oil or grade was in it so not sure how bad it thickened.

Yeah engine is like mid mounted. You get some stuff through the bottom of the seats and there's an access panel under the dump bed for the rest. For a little 3cyl engine it accomplishes a lot

Looks like Mobil 1 10W60 is 22.7, wonder what started out in there.
I'm pretty sure it was a xW30 something or other. Placard calls for 5w30. I guess I'll go 6 months instead of a year so I can see if it keeps doing it.
