Changed the FF on this truck. 660cc KF-VE engine. Hard working engine that is the ultimate short tripper. Lot's of trips at 100 yards or less. Lot's of idling and also high revving bursts. Often overloaded
Are the engines still under the seat on those? I believe they have a cooling system but maybe they still get hot, especially with the long idle periods plus hard work.

Yeah engine is like mid mounted. You get some stuff through the bottom of the seats and there's an access panel under the dump bed for the rest. For a little 3cyl engine it accomplishes a lot
I'm pretty sure it was a xW30 something or other. Placard calls for 5w30. I guess I'll go 6 months instead of a year so I can see if it keeps doing it.
