CV Joint ( Driveshaft ) C-Clip

Hi Guys,

I'm replacing CV joint On my 2004 MZ3 ...
I installed new C clip on the Joint Shaft

Now I'm not able to pass that C Clip with new (to me) cv joint ....

There is really no place to tap it with hammer I don't want to destroy boot ...

Any tips

Are we talking about the internal snap ring that secures the CV joint to the shaft or the boot clamp. Usually, you install the joint onto the shaft, install snap ring, pack joint and boot with grease, and install boot with clamps.

Why be so cryptic?
Do you want our answers to be so terse and vague?
Are you talking about installing the assembled shaft into the trans?

If so, Use whatever C clip is smallest, lube all parts, align the shaft splines straight and started in the trans, and with the shaft straight hit the end sharply with a heavy rubber hammer.
It should pop right in.

Yes assembled shaft needs to clip on to Joint-shaft with the clip
Clip is OEM Mazda ...
