Crown Vic 3 Bolt Starter

Got a 2000 vic that has its OEM starter. I know how to access the top bolt and it sucks, I did these back in early 2000s and rust was not an issue.

How can I make sure I dont break the bolts?

Do you have a Lift where you are at?

No it broke down with no lift or torch set. Hence my fear. I have to travel with a replacment and hope for the best. Tow will be big bucks. Of course I plan to spray with blaster, tap them, and ima take a propane torch but usually that does not do much. I usually like the oxy acetl to really heat it up and quench with blaster.
