How about plugging the crockpot into a timer? Have it go on and off every 30 minutes........just a guess and a PIA, but it may work with a little experimentation.

Try removing the black vent plug on your glass cover. That is something I definitely overlooked when I started using the newer crockpot with a clampdown lid for traveling.

I've noticed the same thing. Pretty poor temperature control on low.

There’s no appliance that produces heat that I would trust energized while I wasn’t home. Missed a few tasty recipes over the years but so be it.
