There's a standard rule of thumb when it comes to running that every extra pound makes you 1% slower and every pound you lose makes you 1% faster. Up to a certain point of course.

A pound of fat or pound of muscles? ;) I have been running 5 miles a day in under 35 minutes for the last 5 years. Ten years ago, I was a bit faster then but I was not running just by myself and I was more competitive than I am now. And I was ten years younger. My weight has been fluctuating little.

Funny:
To Zee09 and AutoMechanic: Your words went like this. "...I tried Hunts and it ruins your food. Nasty...lol"
"Exactly lol. I only use it if I absolutely have too".

What can force you to add a condiment which ruins your food?

Ketchup history: We grew up with "Pride of the Farm" ketchup. It had a good flavor. The others were sugary.

Well I mean if we have fries at a restaurant and they only have Hunts ketchup that’s what I have to use because fries without ketchup are nasty lol.

Under 7 minutes per mile. That’s impressive!
