Crank position sensor ohms

Hello, I've got a 2012 Hyundai Genesis with the 3.8. I've been having some trouble starting, and some stalling issues.

I am wondering what the ohms should be for the crank position sensor. I'm getting a reading around 575 on the multimeter.

Don't know about the Genesis but most crank sensors are Hall Effect and an ohms reading does not mean much.

OTOH, Hall Effect sensors are 3 wire sensors and from your description it sounds like you have a 2 wire sensor.

The ohms may change with temperature. It may short or open up at operating temps. Sounds like yours has shorted internally.

It's very sunny here to I put it in the car for a while and measured it again. It's measuring around 750.

parts cannon is always an option but sometimes a pricy one.

I had one for bad, but ohmed out fine. I suspect that the magnet cracked, or something.
