Anybody know it it's any good?
It was one of the gifts from one of my kids - I haven't opened the box yet, and thought I better asked here.
Although I will use some of the other tools the kid bought, I'm not sure about the combo kit mentioned. And I keep telling him not to send tools every year... kids don't listen.

I've got a set I've had for a year now and so far they've been great. I put them through it remodeling my 2500sq ft house and still use them almost every day and they still work fine. For the money there hard to beat.

While battery powered tools are great for small jobs the batteries always let you down partway through what you're doing, are a PITA and costly for replacements .

Except for one drill I prefer tools with power cords on them .

That has been my experience as well. I don't use them enough to keep the batteries fresh.

I have a wide range ofntheir 19.2 volt and love them all. I use them pretty frequently and they have held up. I didn't expect them to be so durable since they aren't professional grade - but they have held up as well as my DeWalt.

I have this set and have had it for a couple of years. Good quality for a homeowner grade. Batteries are the weak link but they are cheap (about $20 each on sale) so I keep a couple of extra on hand charged so I never run short of power.

I have the C3 drill and 1/2" impact wrench. I'm very pleased with their performance. The Li-Ion battery lasts a long time.

Sounds like I should give it a try. My wife was telling me my youngest son remember earlier this year when I was using my DeWalt RXP and the key-less chuck loosened up on me a few times - he took it that I needed something else, so he bought me this Craftsman C3 5-Tool Lithium Battery kit among other tools. I guess I have to give him credit for remembering something and wanting to make dad happy. Or show appreciation since he is in college, no job, and dad pays everything, I mean everything. Oh I paid his ticket he got using the car I bought him. He wasn't (still has never) used the radar detector I bought him which might have saved the ticket - Merry Christmas to poor old dad my wife says (who also don't work).

i have countless craftsman 19.2 tools and batteries, good product, and they havent changed their battery stlye wich is great, you can just keep adding tools, i love the impact driver, and the one gallon sprayer, no more pumping!!!

Interesting - I'll keep and use the set. Like the idea of adding on to the kit. Although I have plenty pneumatic tools, it's seems strange having a battery impact. Never used one before.
Seems the majority are satisfied with the C3

Adding on to the kit? This system makes it easier than any other I've seen. I've got Craftsman 19.2V tools that are the better part of 10 years old, and I bought a couple of C3 tools a few months back that use the exact same batteries. Imagine that, a brand that hasn't embraced designed obsolescence. Great, huh?

The impact wrench is great as well as the trim saw. The drills are so-so (rather heavy and somewhat unbalanced IMO) but the inflator is great for checking the car tires with. Good bang for the buck.

I have several Craftsman 19.2 tools. I think I bought my original kit back in 2004, give or take. I still use all of those tools on a weekly basis. I still have the original batteries, except 1 died on me. They're getting weak now, so I plan to purchase another 2 batteries soon.

My dad and grandfather both have the drills as well. They go through alot of abuse and I've dropped mine probably a dozen times off of ladders.
