Coupons.com - downloading printing software

Hi,

I am attempting to print off the 5.00 coupon for Maxlife. There is a 3 step process to download the printer software, and I am getting nowhere using my laptop (Toshiba, Windows 7, Chrome). I've also asked a friend with a Mac to try, and he is having the same issues.

What we are seeing is at the end of the 3 step process, an inability to print. It merely takes us back to the beginning step, where you'd once again download the same files. It never gets to the point where you'd actually print the coupon.

Any thoughts?

It is invasive to your computer, so it's cleverly written and comes with annoying side effects to keep you from perpetually printing coupons. Might think you're in a "virtual machine".

Scam, malware, site down, computer/AV settings/pop up blocker...

That software is borderlining on malware. I would remove it ASAP.

Smart phone APP, never ever bothered me and is advertisement free. I do have a HP wireless printer, though it could email the coupon

Run Hitman or MBAM is see what comes up.

I never had a problem with it. I just Dl'd the file to a folder, then double clicked it and it installed itself. Maybe you have to restart the comp...also make sure you have your printer designated as the default printer.

I had problems with Firefox not working. It has something to do with active x. Use IE(, get your coupon and uninstall it. Done and done!

Coupons.com is loaded with bad guys. Get out of there A.S.A.P.

Do NOT install that software. It contains malware.

I havent seen any malware or adware from it.

My XP machine which had coupons.com, is gone now. The bad guys resulting from it aren't loaded at installation. The tyrants are coming soon thou and the longer you keep coupons.com, the better chance you'll be infected..... in spurts.

awhile back they had a bad advertiser redirect thing going on with their webpage.. I havent seen anything bad from their printer plugin software... any names for this bad stuff?

a couple people I know their wives use it and nothing bad so far.
