She stated that they ordered a new GM wheel and will have it shipped to the shop. Should be able to get it done on Thursday or Friday. Tom
A similar story that happened some time ago...
A young lady that my wife had worked with, had 4 - 16" tires installed on her '95ish Mitsu Eclips TURBO, at PepBoys. The tire installer had put scratches in all 4 wheels during the dismounting/mounting of the old/new tires. Long story short...
The young lady, although she paid for the 4 tires/PKG at the time of installation, PB's Management reimbursed her enough money(in a check) to pay for the cost of 4 new 16" Mitsubishi Eclips Wheels.
Which in turn, more than covered the cost of the new tires/PKG and then SOME! And, she never did replaced the wheels, as they really weren't that badly scratched. But, a claim is a claim and PB's made good on it!
