corned beef hash

i love the canned stuff but when i looked at the saturated fat content it was huge so i havnt had the stuff in maybee 5 years or more. well this last st. patricks day one of the bars that i frequent had a bunch of left over corned beef and kicked me down about 5 pounds of it. i went home(made a sandwich) and froze the rest. the other day i saw a show on the food network that showed homemade corned beef hash so today i pulled it out, ground it up, added some chopped onions and potatoes and pan fried it. it was very good, almost as tastey as the canned stuff. now i can have my corned beef hash kick without the guilt trip

I love home made corned beef hash .I had the same experience with the fat comtent of the caned stuff years ago.

That's great stuff. I've made it with roast beef and ham, and they are also excellent.

Hash goes well with anything. Hash'n eggs, hash puppies, hash on rice, hash and hash browns...
