Cool White vs Daylight in 48 “ Florescent Tubes

In some cases the daylight bulbs will work. I think it’s highly contingent upon the coloration of the room/space.

I prefer the 3000/3500K bulbs. I’ve seen some as high as 5000K that I think I like, but am not 100%

Agreed.

I like and don’t mind daylight in a shop/garage or workspace. Maybe even a basement.

For living areas, overhead or table lamps, I prefer a warm soft white light.

Rented an apartment once that had these yellow tinted (very slight yellow) decorative light fixtures that the landlord put daylight LED bulbs in. Talk about feeling like a horror film. This strange green-white glow was throughout the room.

…replaced them all with soft white LED bulbs and ended up swapping back in the horror film bulbs when we moved out. No way was I not keeping 15+ year bulbs. Still using some of them to this day in our home!
