With 3 windows open, firefox is running 150,000 plus. DOing the same thing with IE runs about 20,000 bytes. I am getting tired of my computer slowing down with firefox. Is there a way to get the passwords, favorites, and javascript blockers moved over to IE easily?

Most switch to Firefox because IE is too slow.

What version of Firefox are you running?

In Tools / Options / Advanced / Updates, do you have all (3) unchecked? (Firefox Add-Ons Search Engines)

Have you cleared your cache in Tools / Options / Advanced / Offline Storage?

Have you cleared all your cookies in Tools / Options / Privacy / Individual Cookies?

Lastly, click 'History' and delete all history from prior months / years.

This.

What are the three things that you are doing that you observed the difference on? I want to try them out on my machine.

Firefox may a bit tad faster but consumes more memory, IE use less because many components are already built in Windows.
IE 8 and 9(similar to Firefox) is quite fast too when it does not give connectivity error issue.

Shaman,

150K is a lot more percentage-wise than IE, BUT is is tiny fraction of your machine's memory. To me, the benefits outweigh this.

However, to answer your OP, an addon for both IE and Firefox called XMARKS will allow you to sync favorites/passwords amongst different machines/OS/browsers.
