Finally got real sick of the slow speeds of IE on my laptop and downloaded Firefox. I really like it and the speed that web pages load. However I want it to look like my IE. That is to have my favorites/bookmarks on a thin strip down the left side of the screen. I've tried all sorts of stuff/settings changes, but can't seem to get that set up. I also downloaded the add on IE bookmarks or something like that for Firefox, but still can't get it. BTW I'm running Windows 7 on a laptop. Any ideas?? Tom

Using a third-party add-on to make FF look like IE might work for you, but you should remember that as FF moves from one version to the next there is no guarantee that the add-ons you have will be compatible with the new version. You may have to disable it if it doesn't work properly or look for something else to do what you want.

Just my opinion, but the very essence of trying a new product hoping it will work better than what you already have includes the fact that it will look and act differently and wanting to make it look like something else that it was not designed to be is not always the best solution. IF IE is not working properly, it would be worth the effort to find out why and fix it.
