This is for my 1997 Blazer. 4.3 V6. ~128k.

Sorry for the newb question folks, but I was curious if anyone has had any success with stopping or at least slowing leaks with a conventional (non blend) High Mileage oil. I'm not looking for a wrench in a bottle, but if I could delay replacing my RMS, that'd be nice.

I am sure Pennzoil High Mileage and Maxlife are great oils, but I've personally have had zero success with them doing what they're advertised to do and actually slow down consumption. I've had great luck with Mobil 1 High Mileage, but this was in my Jeep and it wasn't leaving quarter sized puddles wherever it went either.

I am just using some Quaker State Ultimate Durability 10w30 at the moment. She leaks about half a quart every 750 miles.

I know you mentioned Pennzoil High Mileage hasn't worked in the past but I wouldn't limit yourself.

Mobil Super HM would be a candidate.

I believe Super Tech has a HM formulation, maybe give that a try.

Is there a difference between the "old" SN rated pennzoil high millage copper bottles and the new relabeled SN yellow high millage bottles?

Click to reveal.. (pics for reference)

I was able to clean everything off and it looks to be the block to filter line connection that is leaking.. It's just dripping down and coagulating with grime at the bell housing.
