Anyone ever use the Continental Pure Contacts? Thinking of getting a set from Tiresdirect.net, they seem to have pretty good pricing and free shipping. I think DWS06 are also preferred, but I think the Pure Contacts will have longer tread life.

Ive put a few sets of thoes on cars at work. To me they seem to wear a lil fast. I just put a set of true contacts on my Malibu and they are great. And a 90k warranty

I've got a set on the Volvo T5 wagon. 20,000 miles so far.

Excellent tires. Good grip in all weather conditions. Good ride. Quiet. Long wearing. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

I have 42,500 on a set and they are wearing VERY well. Should get another 20,000 easily on them. They handle verywell and are surprisingly good on snowy roads.

Good tire at a good price, you won't be disappointed. The DWS are more of a performance tire, so if its a faster car, or something sportier go that way. The pures are more of a touring tire.

Me telling you "I like Continental Tires" helps you not.

The T rated ProContacts I put on my car were quiet, long lasting tires.

That doesn't help you either.

Got some on the Cruze - too soon to tell on mileage - smooth ride - good in the rain (and it's raining now) ...

Conti makes good tires, which Consumer Reports has noted recently. They own General Tire, thus the good reviews on the RT 43. Pirelli, though, has been getting some good reviews as well and are a bit cheaper than the Conti. I have a set of Conti Pure Contacts on a Gen 4 Camry and the grip is good and the ride very smooth.

I had a set on my previous car, a 2010 Dodge Challenger, and they handles well, kept their balance and got replaced at 45,000 miles. Decent tires and my set was made in the USA.

Edit: my bad, they were True Contact tires.

If the Contis
were made in the US it was probably in a General Tire plant. Good for those who like to buy American.

I have 6k on a set on the focus. So far, I really like them. I feel they grip better than the coopers I've used in the past.

Excellent winter traction so far.

I have these on the TSX, I like them but the winter/wet grip is worse then the Conti ExtremeContact DWS I ran before. However, I went PureContact because they are rated 70k miles for my size, and ride a little better on the interstate, which I am ok with. I've had them for about 30k or so and seems to be wearing pretty well I have them rotated every 5k.

I started running these on my '12 Kia Optima SX last spring and I'm very pleased with them so far (~8K miles so far). They seem to be excellent all weather tires, are quiet, are wearing even and well for my DD. I rotate/balance them and do a 4-wheel alignment every ~6K miles or so. I'm VERY pleased with these so far!

I also had them on my son's '07 Volvo S80, starting at ~170K miles. I rotated/balance them and did 4-wheel alignments every ~5-9K miles. They are worn out at 210K miles which is only ~40K miles (are 70K mile rated). I fault the original suspension system of the Volvo (fairly worn out) for how these have worn. They are quiet, great traction (when not worn out) during their life. I'd buy them again. I've replace two of the four at this point and need to replace the other two.
