I also loved the look of those square Scouts.
When I was a youngster working on a guest ranch in the southwest Rockies, we got two of them brand new to use as rentals for guests. They were the worst vehicles anybody had seen! They seemd to break just sitting there not being driven. They were out of service more than they were in service. Remember, these were brand new vehicles. Can't imagine one with 50k miles.
There's a reason you don't see them around anymore as @PF52 suggested above.

If a left wheel was on the ground you couldn't turn the jacked up wheel on the same axle.

They rusted in about 5 years after purchase. Terrible rust protection design.
