Unfortunately they were ignored; I am not sure why. They went over to the Lexus dealer, were treated very well and wrote a check for a top of the line RX.
Many years ago a young friend was interested in trading in his car on a new Buick Riviera. He asked how much difference they would offer him. The sales guys laughed and laughed and wouldn't even look at his trade in. But they didn't think it was so funny when they saw him drive away in his Lamborghini Countach.
Turns out my friend was a Resident in Orthopedics and his dad was rich.
