conoco megaplex xd3 and Mobil xhp222

I recently acquired a case of each of these 2 greases. How do these compare to the schaeffer #229 that I regularly use. Are these good greases for steering components, ball joints, and lawn mower deck pulleys, etc, etc? I will probably use the grease up anyways, but just curious it compared to the schaeffers. Thanks!

We use quite a bit of the Mobil XHP222 grease and it's excellent stuff. Almost all our manufacturing plants use it in equipment that runs up to 267 RPM with 12 pockets per turret - 3200 operations per minute! Any lubrication failure would cost us dearly with that equipment as it would shut the manufacturing line down.

It is likely overkill for steering components, balljoints, lawn mowers and similar. Use it with confidence.

Appears to be a very stout grease. Mobil recommends this grease for automotive uses.
