Conflicting dosages for LC

Just received my order of LC and FP today. Noticed the directions on the measuring bottle for LC call for 3-4 oz every 1000 miles, with a first time app of 2 oz per quart. This is roughly twice what the LCD website says and about twice what most posters have said they use. The FP directions are OK.

I'm assuming these are old measuring bottles and reference and older LC product. Just want to be sure I use the right amount of LC.

Anyone else notice this, and can confirm dosage? Thanks.

The measuring bottle is Odis' old one that we still have too many of. We are getting a new one soon. Go with what's on the label and use oil analysis and Terry's interpretation to adjust.

If I had looked at the "back" label instead of the "front" label of the gallon jug, I could have saved a post - my oversight.
