If you have one of these meters where you need to enter in the CCA, is the CCA only used to calculate the good/bad condition or is the test actually dependent on the CCA you enter

On a carbon pile battery tester you actually set it to 1/2 batter CCA so the load it puts on battery during the test is 1/2 CCA.

So my question is does what test the conductive battery tester does depend on CCA entered.

I do not see a CCA label on OEM Crosstrek battery. I can guess at 650. Maybe that's close enough.

Yes, I have the ANCEL BA101 battery tester which is popular here on BITOG. The State of Health % is calculated by the value that you enter for CCA (or CA). However, the actual CCA (or CA) test reading is also displayed on the results screen (see below).

Best investment, I learned the multi-meter method I have been using for years is for amateurs.

Toyota battery I purchased last month.

no way is a 2021 crosstrek battery 650, until recently they were way undersize.

Maybe 500cca. my 2015 forester was under 400cca.
IIRC the 22 forester wilderness was 500-550 range.
