Comfortable Seats

Mazda3 is still available as a hatch with a 2.5 turbo and AWD, is it not?
I preferred the Mazdaspeed over its competitors for the same reasons I preferred the C43 over the M340i and S4; the Mazda had a scrappy aggressive attitude- a tight suspension, an overachieving powerplant, and a throaty exhaust. As a contemporary Car and Driver road test described it, “everything happens in italics!” The new Mazda3 is a nice car, but too mature for my tastes.

Volvo has good seats, they're comfy and not too hard. Bmw and Mercedes have seats that are the right shape to be comfy.
Early 2000s vw are the worst seats ever. Hard and shaped funny, they'll make you hurt after 20 minutes
I agree but these days they have gone with the sporty approach. I would say that Volvos in years past had some of the best seats.

I dont have a bad back to say but I wish at least one car had a overly plush option. 90s Grand Marque.
