I called and got the 89$ service
plus 9$ for additional room
plus 7$ for modem rental.
I will buy a DOCSIS modem, probably the ubee one, but i want to see what they install first and then I will buy it.
I wonder if I can buy the digital cable box too?
No, don't buy your own cable box. It's not worth it. Ones like the CAble Company uses are generally $500+ and you can't really buy them anyway, they are generally sold only directly to MSOs. Plus they are tbh quite failure prone compared to modems. Rent the box.
Modems, nononono. Avoid Ubee at all costs. Get either a Motorola or Arris. This is what you want

He mentioned he wondered if he could buy his own cable box as well, and I advised him it's not really feasible.
