Yeah baby, finally! Three straight against Philly & four straight against Arizona! Hope they win the World Series! I still remember the game I watched at Coors Field in Denver with the Rockies beating the Cleveland Indians. And now it is possible those two teams will meet again in the World Series.

Denver Broncos are not doing anything this year but the Rockies in the World Series!

The 4th inning was amazing! They entered it losing 1-0, exited it leading 6-1.

I feel bad for that pitcher on the D'Backs...he pitched a good game. The 1st basemen couldn't field the ball to get the needed out and the bloop hit to let in 2 runs was a stroke of luck. Then he got the wind knocked out of him.

Rockies in 5 games. I think they'll lose the 1st one with all that time between games.

Go Rockies! Besides that, as a Tiger's fan, I want Cleveland to lose, preferably to the Boston. Thankfully the Yankees went down.

Actually I think that as good as the pitching and relief pitching was for the Rockies the Diamondbacks actually had better pitching. But the Rockies just had things happen again and again at the right times and luck was going their way.

The Diamondback pitching was so good at times I thought the Rockies would have a hard time scoring. And then something would happen right at the right time.

The Rockies were incredible on defense. There were some incredible circus catches made.

I am not a real big baseball fan but with the Rockies being in the running for the World Series I did watch quite a few games. The Denver Broncos are going nowhere this year and I decided to watch baseball.

I have always been for the underdog. I like when the wildcard team makes it also.

I have nothing against the Yankees but they won so many times it was tiring. Don't they have a salary cap in baseball? The Yankees were outspending by a lot the other teams.

I was happy a while back when the Red Sox won because they had not won the World Series in such a long time. Then I was happy when the White Sox won because they had not won in so long. This is the first time the Rockies have even made the World Series much less winning it. There are still a few teams that have never made it. And the Cleveland Indians have not won the World Series since 1948 and the Chicago Cubs for 99 years.

Apparently the Red Sox are now spending like the Yankees used to. So I would kind of like seeing the Cleveland Indians and Rockies in the World Series. Of course I would like to see the Rockies win it.

It is strange that it may well be the Indians and the Rockies in the World Series and I watched those two teams play at Coors Field a few years back. That is the only time I ever got to see a professional baseball game at a stadium.

I loved the Rockies when they were losers. I love them now. I'll love them when they lose again.

I love the atmosphere at Coors Field, walking up, the train station.

Never been to a Boston or Yankees game, but I'll bet they have good atmosphere too.

It is starting to look more and more like it will be the Rockies and the Indians in the World Series. Apparently that huge player playroll of the Red Sox does not automatically translate into a World Series appearance.

I want for the Rockies to win of course but if the Indians are in the World Series and they win I wouldn't feel so bad-it would be the first time for them since 1948. Hopefully it will be an exciting World Series.

What do people here think about the Rockies versus the Cleveland Indians? Who do you think is better?

Well, lets hope game 2 goes a bit better. OUCH

First game of the playoff went nearly this bad for Cleveland then the next three games were a turnaround. I am hopeful that the Rockies can make a comeback. Basically they were killed by their first three pitchers and the Red Sox pitcher. Rockies 4th pitcher of the night was decent and would have given them a fighting chance had he been their starter.
