Cold Starts E90 328 BMW

Hi Guys,

I'm experiencing some strange cold starts.
It cranks 2 times longer then warm ..
After starts it a bit rough..

I cleaned MAF, Add injector cleaner to gas, Swapped Battery I'm using only premium gas.

Any ideas where should I look ?

I'm thinking at this point leaking injector or fuel pump.

A leaking injector would make hot starts worse, not cold starts.
You are almost certainly experiencing a LACK of fuel when cold.
Why? All sorts of reasons. Dirty MAF, bad TPS, fuel filter, dirty injectors, vacuum leak.

Maf - Cleaned
TPS - that should throw codes ? ( This would appear on only cold start ? )

Vacuum Leak .. is spraying carb stuff okay on modern engine ? Or should I run smoke test ?

No CEL?

I would suspect Vacuum leak, MAF, coolant temp sensor.

I think you mentioned this was a salvage vehicle? accident? could there be wire damage, or physical damage to a sensor?

Could be evap system leak, but I would expect a CEL.

Have you started another similar car, could it be normal? Our 528 idles rough for a few seconds after a cold start.

No there was no front end damage so its unlikely ...

Small update today was really dump+rain car started I think normal still a bit longer start then warm but it was smoother for sure ...

Maybe Coils are bad ? should I lube them inside with some grease ?

Computer never recorded misfire but that could be the case ?

I seriously doubt your coils are bad.

I know this is a bad idea, and never recommended, but you could swap some parts between this one and the other one to isolate the problem.
