I bought an OBDLink LX Bluetooth. I use it with OBD Auto Doctor software on my Linux Laptop. Last night the Error wrench icon lit up on the speedometer and message displayed on the screen on the dashboard. The throttle problem started acting up again. I ran the Auto Doctor software, but it said thee were no error codes. I drove around for about 15 minutes, still no codes on the software. The software was recording other data such as water temperature, etc.
I am beginning to think the throttle body sensor is not the problem. Sometimes I can turn off the engine, restart and the problem goes away, the light goes away, and the symptom goes away. If it does not, I can press the brake pedal and throttle for 15 seconds and both the warning light (wrench) and symptom disappear. I am thinking there is a bad connector between the throttle pedal and the throttle body.
