NAPA is closing out all their NAPA branded tools to make room for the new Taiwanese made Carlyle tools. Most of the NAPA branded tools were made in USA by Danaher Tool Group, but some of them were made by GearWrench and some of the screwdrivers were made by Witte of Germany. All the NAPA hand tools that are being closed out will have the NHT prefix in the part number. If you already know the part number, you enter in the part number without the NHT prefix. Prices are 50% to 70% less than what they were before the closeout. Their website won't list the previous prices however, just the current sale prices.

I'm showing $16.65 for P-117 side cutters; that's at least 50% off. What are you showing for a price?

I took a screen shot of the same page in your link showing the prices at my local NAPA distribution center.

The socket set NBT613 in that screen shot crosses over to GearWrench 80582. The list price for that set is $45.61

OK I ran some more numbers. It's looking like you'll save the most money by buying NHT
pliers and hammers; those prices are definitely cut 50% off list. Other items like open
stock screwdrivers, extensions, and combination wrenches are also 50% off list.

I even tried putting in a zip code for Clovis CA and picking the NAPA in Clovis and still got the same high prices as here. Im not sure how you are getting the lower prices to show up

Napa here does not carry napa tools. only the evercraft garbage. I asked about ordering the napa brand tools. they don't show any specials on them plus id have to pay shipping if I ordered any.

I just bought 6 of the Witte made NAPA drivers for $20+tax from my local store. But I just noticed several of them have been used. I'm heading back after work to see about exchanging them.
