Clean the used filter and reusing them...

I just leave it on, the reason was the oil in the filter didn't drained out because of the ADBV. There is small gain when you remove the filter, about 2-3 oz drain out from the filter hole.

I have, without a problem. Some have reported the base gasket leaking, so you'd need to keep an eye on it after you re-install it. I don't over-tighten to begin with, so maybe that has something to do with it.

That depends on the orientation of the filter. With a filter in a horizontal position or pointed down, I've gotten quite a bit more out that just what was held by the ADBV. Also, if I'm pulling a filter to re-use it, I'll also push open the ADBV and remove that oil as well.

Just throw the filter in the trash and be done with it

How long you can use the filter depends a lot on how well your engine is performing and the quality of the oil you are using. Group I oils will clog a filter much quicker than Group II or synthetic. An engine with excess soot will fill the filter. Short trips will allow humidity to clog the paper.

If driving is long trips, synthetic oil, well tuned, gasoline engine, etc. it is probable that you could leave it in for two changes if you are not extending oil drains. But it is not recommended to take off and put back a filter. The gasket is not meant to be compressed, heated, removed, compressed again. You may well have leaks and end up driving without oil. I've seen it too often to discount it.

I agree that removing and reinstalling a used filter is probably asking for leak problems on the base gasket. I look at the base gasket on used filters I remove, and usually the base gasket is smashed and warped to some degree. I wouldn't trust it for another OCI.

When re-using my filters (when I do this), I leave it on. I consider the relatively minute quantity of oil in the filter negligible, versus the even marginal chance that removing and reinstalling it may compromise the seal and lead to (even a small) leak.

As long as the filter isn't used beyond its useful service life, I see no objective argument that discounts doing this where the filter has more life left in it than the oil does. I do see an objective potential problem, as raised above, in removing it before re-using it for a subsequent OCI. As long as this practice isn't adopted, there is no harm (potential or otherwise) in using the filter across multiple OCs so as to maximize its service life (this doesn't mean keeping it on for 100,000 miles, it means removing it when time or mileage suggests its served its useful performance life).
