Anybody know a cheap source for SD cards for my new Nikon L110?

San Disk, Toshiba, Panasonic, an Lexar is what they recommend. Also I need class 6 which makes it tougher. I have not decided what size yet. Depends on the cost.

Tiger Direct, Amazon, Newegg?

What about the cards that use an adapter? Is that not recommended?

I bought 8gb class 6 card from amazon last month for 20 bucks.

General rule of thumb is if the card has dark blue body and yellow tab, it is a toshiba. I think most of the SD card in the US are Toshiba or SanDisk rebadge, even Micron / Lexar used to rebadge from Toshiba (I had one Micron 2GB card that is Toshiba).

Most Kingston SD cards are Toshiba as well. Some of the newer Trendsend are SanDisk as well.

Most of them are pretty good nowadays if it is class 6. Just buy on price.
