CI-4 or CJ-4 diesel for gasoline engine use?

I just changed the oil in my Twin Turbo Corvette to Rotella CJ-4 5W40 synthetic. I noticed on their site that CI-4 is supposedly still available...would it be a better choice in the future?

I think the new generation CJ-4 oils will and have done great in gasoline engines.

The CJ-4 oils are dual rated for API/SM, so more suitable for new engines under warranty. The higher TBN CI-4+ formulations will probably allow for longer service intervals.
