Chrysler 300C crank no start girlfriend issue

My girlfriend bought a abused 2007 300C. It will crank and it won't start. So far she has bought a throttle body a ECU a fuel pump relay and a total of three fuel pumps. She does know how to operate a multi meter. I am waiting for her to get tired so I can tow it to Javier my mechanic. I would help her but I lost a hand at work so I am useless. How do I convince her to give up? before she spends more money on parts. Help guys
 
Tell her the brutal truth: Shooting a cannon load of parts will make her poorer, but will not make the engine run. She needs to have a real scanner put on it and a competent mechanic sort it out.
If she is tired of the 300C, I know where she can buy some non-running BMWs. A cannon load of parts won't make them run, but with a real scan and a competent mechanic, they probably only need a solenoid or something simple like a broken connector. But shade tree mech owners won't admit they don't have the tools and skills to diagnose.

She has a BMW omg what a heap but it runs. When she finishes wrenching I will have the talk thank you

I will tell her about bimmerfest at an appropriate time. Right now she is sad frustrated
 
The only ones without girlfriend issues are married. Way more issues that way. Or really none at all, you resign yourself to the fact that you have no say anymore. Anyway on to the car.

I realize you have some physical disabilities but your brain works. Go buy some starter fluid and give it a shot at the Throttle body when cranking. At least you might determine if its fuel or spark?

Any codes?

Does Javier travel?
 
1. Have you tried to convince her that she’s wasting time and money?

2. Are you losing any time and money over this?

If the answer is YES to both 1 and 2, then you have a girlfriend problem.

If the answer is YES to 1 and NO to 2, then wait it out and pull the “I told you so” card after you and Javier figure it out.

Multiple codes. Got the starter fluid thanks. I advised my girlfriend to break out the multi meter. Typically she refuses assistance from me. I get to carry her jack with one hand lol. I am offering advice and after she slams a map sensor in she will stop and we will seek expert advice. Javier doesn't travel but I have one long distance tow through triple A that will reach him

I will be losing my money after tomorrow she is coming to the realization that she needs expert help.

Did it jump time? Maybe a throttle position sensor or clogged fuel filter. Throwing parts at something can get expensive.
