Try wrapping a box like an 19 inch LCD monitor with flimsy, tissue paper weight, sucky Christmas paper.

My wife can wrap her own GD present.

Give me paper that's more than 6.625 x 10^-34 angstroms thick, and I might be able to work with it.

What's the point of wrapping gifts anyway? Maybe if you make the wrapper look like a giant aluminum foil swan, maybe then the wife will be surprised.

I've never quite acquired the knack for wrapping stuff. I guess my sense of spatial relationships (

)is under developed. I always either make it way too big ..or too short (large/small). The ends are never neat and end up folded like a brown bag lunch. The ribbon is too loose.

My wife insists on suffering or sacrifice be attached to all her gifts. If it doesn't hurt ...it just doesn't mean anything.

I figure the wrapping experience qualifies.

I've found the easies way to wrap my wife's presents is to put them in a plain box and let her wrap them.

No original box? Then it's too easy to ruin those. If you can hide it, pack the owners' manual. Better surprise factor and less handling hassle.

just a thought

Er, you mean "holiday paper sucks".
