I don't know people my age(23) and older survived childhood. We had toys that were small, usually sharp, easily burned, and probably slightly radioactive(unless they were lead...). Toys now are sooooo safe compared to those things and yet kids now get hurt more often than when I was little.
I understand holding product makers responsible for lame procedures to ensure safety, but this culture is WAAAY too sue happy.
I also see many people putting things in their mouths they should not be. I am a teacher assistant at my university, one day in class I was helping a student when a girl next to her started coughing and looked scared. She wasnt choking, she had just swallowed her eraser..... Chewing on the pencil and it came up and right down the old pie hole.
