Not being a native English speaker, I am not really sure if the above statement is grammatically correct. Something just does not sound right. The two items being compared ("car" and "electric") are not of the same "class", if you pardon my C++ computerspeak :-)
 
I agree - it's awkward - I think the reason is that "electric" is used in adjective form here and "car" just sounds goofy as an adj.

I think what they aimed at is roughly "This car has more to it than just being an electric" but of course that's too long to be a catchy tag line, so they went for the [censored] format of it.
