Chevron Supreme

I stopped by the new Tractor Supply in our area and found they carried my favorite but hard to find Chevron Supreme 10w30 for $1.38 per quart. For the past year, it has been almost imposible to find Chevron Supreme in the San Antonio area. No Delo on the shelves. I also noticed a lot of Mystic HDEO and PCMO on the shelves.

Do you have Checker/Schuck's/Kragen stores in your area? Those carry Chevron Supreme, and often to rebates at $.49/qt.

Any Havoline, Chevron's other brand? I think Havoline and Chevron oils are identical or nearly so.

Mystic is a brand of Citgo, isn't it?

We do not have Checker/Schuck's/Kragen in my area. Walmart, allied with QS/Penz seems to be in a war with Chevron. Chevron Supreme and Havoline are both made by Chevron and are pretty much replaceable. A Chevron rep told me the add packs are not exact but he was unsure if the base oils were the same.
While at Tractor Supply, I noticed some 15W-50 CI-4 Citgo/Mystik on the shelf. I'm wondering if that would make a good M/C oil. Has anybody seen a VOA or UOA on that oil?

wow, guess im lucky to be able to scoop up two cases of the Chevron stuff for .49 cents a qrt every month. works great in my mom's tahoe and my pickup

I love Chevron Supreme so much that I'm willing to pay $2/quart at my local Chevron gas station. Not to mention they are the only one's that carry Chevron Supreme 5w-20. Now if only I could find a place that sold Chevron Synthetic...

pmwalter, if you can't find it at a retail store, just look up a nearby Chevron distributor, I'm sure there are several in OR.

The best Chevron/Havoline oils are the dinos & high mileage oils.

Costco carries Chevron Supreme 5w30 and 10w30. Case price is right round $13.49...a screaming deal.

I think Chevron is being replaced by Shell in all the Costcos in Michigan.
