Chevron Supreme 5W30 Synthetic Blend

Good day all. I just joined today. A friend of mine told me about this site. Please bare with me as I am not very handy at operating a computer. I'm 50 years old and just started using one last week. My son is showing me how.

I have tried to look this up but as I said I'm not very good yet.

My question is, Can I safely use Chevron Supreme Synthetic Blend 5W30 in my 2005 Ford Explorer? It has over 300,000 miles on it?

I'm pretty sure all that old Ford needs is 5W30 or 10W30 that's rated for a gasoline car, so yes, Chevron Supreme or literally any Xw30 oil that's got an API S-rating will be just fine.
