Interesting that they are on the same chassis. Good info.
Gas prices will never pop again. Too many EVs out there already. You're welcome.Give it until:
Gas prices pop or market cycle and satiety again drive normal sales numbers.

GM likes to kick themselves whenever they are on the up and up. Watched this company for 4 decades now, they love to succeed at bad decisions. BTW- we have 2 GMs (one brand new with CarPlay (gasoline)) but in the future if another one and there is no CarPlay, it MAY have us look elsewhere.I want a Prologue SS. Blazer EV SS with CarPlay. Would have been the perfect vehicle haha.
They're SO close to amazing, honestly. Despite a few minor things I really LOVED my Prologue. And obviously the lack of CarPlay didn't keep up from buying the Equinox EV. But yeah, since they've developed the software already, it would cost them literally nothing to offer CarPlay in all their EVs.GM likes to kick themselves whenever they are on the up and up. What's all that white stuff? Nice ride, by the way...One thing I forgot to add. Insurance on the LYRIQ is actually cheaper than the Blazer EV. $509 vs $606 for 6 months from State Farm. Cadillac drivers must be more careful on average?

It’s hard to tell from the photos available on the internet. Is there a rear wiper? One thing I forgot to add. Insurance on the LYRIQ is actually cheaper than the Blazer EV. $509 vs $606 for 6 months from State Farm. Cadillac drivers must be more careful on average?

No wiper on LYRIQ, but yes on Blazer EV.It’s hard to tell from the photos available on the internet. Is there a rear wiper?
Bummer. That LYRIQ is an amazing looking vehicle. I have a loaner sedan for the week while my GMC Sierra EV is in the shop and anytime it rains, it’s impossible to see out the rear window unless I’m at highway speeds. No wiper on LYRIQ, but yes on Blazer EV.
The Blazer a digital rear camera. I expect the Lyriq has one as an option as well.Bummer. That LYRIQ is an amazing looking vehicle. I have a loaner sedan for the week while my GMC Sierra EV is in the shop and anytime it rains, it’s impossible to see out the rear window unless I’m at highway speeds.
I just looked it up. Looks like the LYRIQ has a digital rear mirror and a washer. Better than nothing but still not as good as a rear wiper. My Toyota has a digital rear mirror which comes in handy when my rear window is obstructed with boxes and whatnot but the lack of depth of field is noticeable. The Blazer a digital rear camera. I assume many car manufacturers do the same. BMW does something similar with their employee plan.No kidding! I definitely wouldn’t buy one new. This LYRIQ was $79k new and I got it for $49k and certified pre-owned. It was a GM Corporate-employee lease. They apparently let corporate employees do 6 or 12 month leases, then dealerships can buy them up and resell (others probably know the details)? Most of the used 2025s I saw were labeled the same. You can get 2024s even cheaper, but I wanted a 2025, which has some updates over 2023/2024
The release naming convention is sending me. I find it personally offensive.Been getting tons of OTA updates on the LYRIQ lately. This week was GM’s biggest ever for the LYRIQ. They’re finally doing full Android Automotive OS updates via OTA.
654.50 today updated AAOS from 12 to 14. Also added all the streaming apps (which newer cars have). HBO Max, YouTube, Prime, etc.
New cluster gauges, menus, icons. Lots of updates.
