My favorite time to drive a car: just after an oil change or just after setting inflation pressures all-around correctly. Car is SO stable at that point, it nearly drives itself. This "effect" is true in my BMW, Mini and Honda, like autopilot. Pressure drifts from this in a week to 10 days, so I check 'em again. Costco makes it stupid simple. With 5K mile OCI's and tire rotations, all my cars max out their tread life even across the tread. At a little over 50% wear, if there is any uneveness in wear from center to side, indicating over or under inflation, I adjust a pound either way to compensate for the remainder of the tread life so wear is even at the end. Currently running Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on the 335i, Pirelli Cinturato P7 Summer on the Cooper S & Pirelli Cinturato P7C2 Summer on my Accord. Wish I could get the Cinturato C3 and or the Pzero PZ5 in my sizes. Perhaps by the time I'm due for tires I will be able to get those. CHECK YOUR SPARE TIRE INFLATION PREASURE. : ) TIRES: They largely determine the personality of your car!
